01. Dakini - Kiss Nuka ft. Rākhis
Dakinis are mystical entities embodied in female form, representing the movement of energy within space, and could be most aptly characterized as the feminine manifestation of enlightened energy.
Anushka Manchanda, a.k.a Kiss Nuka's expresses Dakini as celebrating the power of the feminine, wrapped in Drum and Bass, highlighting the importance of inner engineering and the potential it has for heightened awareness and a spiritual awakening.
She firmly believes that for the welfare of this planet and its beings, our human race must connect with the feminine energies present within each of us.
The artwork portrays the spiritual energy, the power, and radiance that come with it, visually represented with the yellow/golden hues that are prominent in the artwork.
01. Breakfast in Bed - Joshua Singh, k o k u m, Sahir
In collaboration with graphic designer Rushil Bhatnagar, this album artwork was produced during the 2020 lockdown. The single takes you to a dreamy place of melodies and lush RnB soundscapes that we wished to portray visually. The final artwork was a perfect blend of 3D elements, image manipulation, and unusual, surreal elements.
Lyrically, “Breakfast In Bed” was born out of a conversation the artists had about love, romance, and illusions. “We often think of love in these cinemascope, Instagrammed moments. When in fact, the entirety of love lies in the most mundane, routine dances of our lives,” explains k o k u m - Rolling Stone (India)
03. Falling - Anushka (Bønehead remix)
Photographer & DJ Anushka Menon’s debut track 'Falling' is about love and loss…about searching for answers within a dream - a place between reality and fantasy, and about looking within to find them.
The digital artwork for a new remix by Bønehead was made by reworking an original still photograph from the official video.
04. Fopchu - Now Showing
Album Art for electronic band 'Fopchu', based out of New Delhi (India).
This Digital Artwork was made by reworking an illustration by artist Shantam Khanna to recreate the album cover as if it were a ‘piece of art in the museum’.
